The Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO), Department of Space has issued the centralized recruitment notification No. ISRO ICRB:01(A-JPA):2026 for the appointment of Assistants, Junior Personal Assistants (JPA), Upper Division Clerks (UDC) and Stenographers in Level-4 of the Pay Matrix. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 242 vacancies are available across different ISRO Centres, Units and Autonomous Bodies. Eligible and qualified Indian graduates and diploma holders can apply for the notified positions through the prescribed online application process. Graduation Degree with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale from any recognized University (completed within stipulated course duration) AND Proficiency in the use of Computers.

Junior Personal Assistant / Stenographers
(Post No. 2, 4 & 6)

Level 4
(Basic Pay: Rs. 25,500/- p.m. + Allowances)

Graduation Degree with minimum 60% marks or CGPA of 6.32 on a 10-point scale OR Diploma in Commercial/Secretarial Practice with min 60% marks/6.32 CGPA.
AND
One-year work experience as Steno-Typist / Stenographer (or BOAT Apprenticeship Certificate for DCP/DCCP holders).
AND
Minimum speed of 60 w.p.m. in English Stenography + Proficiency in Computer use.
