IOCL Panipat Apprentice Selection Process
- NO WRITTEN TEST : Selection will be based purely on the percentage of marks obtained in the prescribed educational qualification in descending order.
- Tie Case Rule : In case of equal marks, the candidate senior by age (date of birth) will be ranked higher. If the DOB is also the same, matriculation marks will be checked.
- Document Verification : Shortlisted candidates from the merit list will be called for physical certificate verification.
- Medical Fitness : Candidates must clear the pre-engagement medical fitness examination before final joining.

Important Application Guidelines & Steps (Mandatory Both Steps)
- Important Note: Completing both Step I and Step II is mandatory. Incomplete forms will be rejected.
- STEP I (Portal Registration) : Candidates for codes 101, 102, 108, 109, 110, 111 must register on NAPS portal. Candidates for codes 104, 105, 106, 107 must register on NATS portal. Apply for the opening under Establishment ID of Panipat Refinery.
- STEP II (Microsoft Forms) : After applying on the NAPS/NATS portal, candidates must mandatorily visit the IOCL website and fill out their additional details in the active Microsoft Forms link.
- Candidates who completed apprenticeship earlier or have job experience of 1 year or more are not eligible.
- Candidates who have completed 5 years after acquiring the educational qualification are also not eligible to apply.
