- Minimum Age Limit : 15 Years
- Maximum Age Limit : 24 Years
- Age Relaxation : Upper age relaxation of 05 years for SC/ST, 03 years for OBC, 10 years for PwBD, and additional service period for Ex-Servicemen as per Railway rules.

- Passed Class 10th (Matriculation) under 10+2 system with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks from a recognized Board.
- Must possess an ITI Certificate (NCVT / SCVT) in the relevant trade.
- For Lab Technician (Pathology): Passed 12th (10+2) with Physics, Chemistry & Biology with minimum 50% marks in both 10th & 12th.

Selection Process & Training Terms
- Selection Mode : Selection will be based purely on academic merit list prepared on the percentage of marks obtained in Matriculation (Class 10th).
- No Written Exam / Interview : There will be no written examination or viva voice round.
- Tie-Breaking Criteria : If marks are identical, older candidate will be preferred; if DOB is also same, candidate who passed 10th earlier will be placed higher.
- Railway Level-1 Preference : Apprentices trained in Railway establishments (CCAA) holding NAC certificate get preference for up to 20% vacancies in open market direct recruitment to Railway Level-1 posts.
