 The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Madras has officially released the GATE 2027 notification for the Graduate Aptitude Test in Engineering (GATE). This national-level Computer-Based Test (CBT) is conducted for admission to postgraduate programmes and for recruitment in various Public Sector Undertakings (PSUs). The online application process will begin on 14 August 2026, and the last date to submit the application is 21 September 2026. The examination is scheduled to be held on 6, 7, 13, 14, 20, and 21 February 2027. GATE 2027 will cover 30 test papers, including the newly introduced Robotics & Automation (RA) paper, along with updated syllabi for selected subjects.   • Age Limit : No Age Limit to appear for GATE 2027 Examination.
  • Educational Qualification : Candidates currently studying in the 3rd or higher years of any undergraduate degree program OR completed any government-approved degree in Engineering / Technology / Architecture / Science / Commerce / Arts are eligible.

  • Visit the official GATE 2027 website and click on the online registration link.
  •  Create a new account using a valid email ID and mobile number. Complete the registration process and note down your Enrollment ID and password.
  • Log in to the application portal and fill in your personal, academic, and contact details accurately.
  • Select the preferred GATE paper, examination city, and other required options as per your eligibility.
  • Upload scanned copies of your recent passport-size photograph, signature, and supporting documents in the prescribed format.
  • Carefully verify all information entered in the application form before proceeding further.
  •  Pay the application fee through the available online payment methods. Submit the application form and download the confirmation page for future reference.
  • Keep a printed copy of the final application form and payment receipt safely for use during admit card download and future admission or recruitment processes.
