JSSC JILCCE Scheme of Examination & Marks Pattern
- Exam Pattern Mode: Examination will be conducted via Computer Based Test (CBT) or OMR offline method. Scores across multiple shifts will be normalized.
- Marking Scheme: Every question carries 3 marks. 3 Marks awarded for a correct answer, and 1 Mark will be deducted for each wrong answer. No negative marking applies for unattempted questions.
- Selection Stages: The process consists of two stages: Preliminary Exam and Mains Exam. However, if the total applications are less than 50,000, JSSC will directly hold the Mains exam.

Stage 2 : Mains Examination Structure (3 Distinct Papers – 2 Hours Each)
- Paper 1: Language Knowledge (Qualifying – 120 Questions)
- Hindi Language: 60 Qs | English Language: 60 Qs (Unseen passage 20 Qs + Grammar 40 Qs each).
- Paper 2: Regional / Tribal Language Knowledge (100 Questions)
- Choose any 1 elective language: Hindi, English, Urdu, Santhali, Bengali, Mundari, Ho, Khadiya, Kudukh, Kurmali, Khortha, Nagpuri, Panchpargania, Odia, or Sanskrit. (Min qualifying marks: 30%).
- Paper 3: General Knowledge (120 Questions)
- General Studies: 30 Qs | Jharkhand GK: 40 Qs | General Science: 20 Qs | General Math: 10 Qs | Mental Ability: 10 Qs | Basic Computer Knowledge: 10 Qs. (Min qualifying marks: 30%).
- Final Merit List Calculation : Based on the sum total marks scored in Paper 2 + Paper 3 combined.

How to Fill JSSC JILCCE Intermediate Level Online Form 2026
- Candidates can apply online through JSSC’s official recruitment portal website at www.jssc.jharkhand.gov.in between 20 July 2026 and 19 August 2026.
- Step 1 (Registration): Launch the application system and click on “Online Application for JILCCE-2026”. Complete your personal records tracking profile to receive a unique registration number and password on your email and phone.
- Step 2 (Form Filling & Choice Option): Log in again using your credentials. Candidates possessing multiple technical eligibilities can choose multiple post preference choices in order of preference during form steps. Fill up your address, father’s name, and category blocks exactly matching your Matriculation (10th) certificate.
- Step 3 (Fee Payment): After completely filling out details and saving pages, proceed to click on “Submit To Proceed Payment”. Deposit the fee online based on your category standards.
- Step 4 (Document Upload): Re-login after payment confirmation to upload scanned copies of your fresh Passport Size Photograph and candidate complete full Signature.
- Domicile & Caste Certification Rules : Local resident proofs must be issued on or after 02/06/2016 from SDO level or on/after 19/07/2019 from Circle Officer (Tehsildar CO) level. Caste certificate from CO level must be issued on or after 25/02/2019. EWS certificate must be issued on or after 01/04/2026. Married immigrated women are not eligible for reservation benefits via marriage grounds.
- Cross-verify your entire page entry inside the system preview panel and submit. Save a clearly printed copy of your registration sheets and payment slips for tracking purposes.
