Complete Category & Sub-Category Wise Reservation Grid
- Vertical Reservation Model: SC Candidates – 16%, ST Candidates – 20%, OBC Candidates – 27% (Subject to final court directives), and EWS Candidates – 10%.
- Horizontal Reservation Models: 35% of seats are horizontally reserved for Female candidates across all categories (except forest department rules). MP Domicile Ex-Servicemen receive 10% horizontal allocation. Specially Abled (Divyangjan) profiles enjoy a 6% total horizontal distribution distributed as 1.5% each for VH, EH, LD, and MD tags.

Examination Pattern, Timings & Passing Score Rules
- CBT Written Layout Scheme : The computer-based test consists of a single paper containing 200 Multiple Choice Questions carrying a maximum of 200 Marks. Part A covers General Knowledge, Hindi, English, Mathematics, Reasoning, Science, and Computer Knowledge (100 Marks). Part B covers Agriculture/Horticulture core subjects (100 Marks).
- Exam Shift Timings : Conducted across two shifts on 02 August 2026. First Shift reporting is 07:00 AM to 08:00 AM (Test time: 09:00 AM to 12:00 PM). Second Shift reporting tracks 12:30 PM to 01:30 PM (Test time: 02:30 PM to 05:30 PM). Composite duration per shift is 3.0 Hours.
- Negative Marking Rules : Correct answers fetch 1 mark. Explicit negative marking is active; 0.25 marks shall be deducted for every incorrect response marked. Normalization techniques apply across multiple shift panels.
- Minimum Passing Benchmarks : Minimum qualifying score is established at 50% marks for Unreserved applicants and 40% marks for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates.

Mandatory Directives & How to Register Form Online
- Online registrations can be filed through the MP Online selection gateway or via personal citizen user dashboards from 03/07/2026 to 17/07/2026.
- Employment Exchange Mandate : Candidates must possess an active valid registration certificate (जीवित पंजीयन) from the Employment Exchange (रोजगार कार्यालय) of Madhya Pradesh state. Non-MP residents can only apply under General/Open quotas and are excluded from reservation or age concessions.
- Identity & Biometric Checks : Aadhaar registration is strictly mandatory. Candidates must complete multi-level biometric authentication checks at test venues. Ensure your Aadhaar profile is unlocked during the biometric scanning window. Bring a valid original photo ID proof (Voter Card, PAN, Aadhaar, Driving License, or Passport) along with a black ballpoint pen.
- Special Tribal Community Clauses : Since these posts are classified as Executive (कार्यपालिक), candidates belonging to special primitive tribes of MP (such as Baiga, Sahariya, and Bharia ST communities) are NOT entitled to direct appointment or exam exemptions. They must apply online as regular Scheduled Tribe applicants and clear the CBT MPESB.
