Short Information About The Post  :
 The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has released the official notification for the Nursing Officer Recruitment Common Eligibility Test (NORCET) 10. Through this national-level recruitment examination, eligible candidates will be selected for the post of Nursing Officer in Level-7 of the Pay Matrix under Group-B category for AIIMS New Delhi and various participating AIIMS institutions across India. The recruitment process will be conducted in two phases. The NORCET 10 Preliminary Examination is scheduled to be held on 11 April 2026, while qualified candidates will appear for the NORCET 10 Mains Examination on 30 April 2026. Selected candidates will receive salary and allowances as per the Level-7 pay structure applicable to Nursing Officers in central government medical institutions. Interested applicants who meet the required educational qualifications, registration requirements, and other eligibility conditions can submit their online applications within the prescribed dates. EDUCATION QUALIFICATION

Option I:

  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Nursing / B.Sc. Nursing from Indian Nursing Council/State Nursing Council recognized Institute or University OR B.Sc. (Post-Certificate)/ Post-Basic B.Sc. Nursing from Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute / University.
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife with State / Indian Nursing Council

Option II:

  • Diploma in General Nursing Midwifery from Indian Nursing Council / State Nursing Council recognized Institute/Board or Council
  • Registered as Nurses & Midwife in State / Indian Nursing Council
  • Two Years Experience in minimum 50 bedded Hospital after acquiring educational qualification
